- These prices represent record lows for the 14-inch variant on Amazon.
Amazon has reduced prices on Apple’s 2026 MacBook Pro lineup, offering discounts of up to $600 on select models this week. According to MacRumors, these reductions apply to the newest M5 Pro chips, marking a significant drop from Apple’s standard retail pricing for these high-end devices.
The 14-inch MacBook Pro equipped with the 15-Core M5 Pro chip is now priced at $2,399 on Amazon. This configuration includes 24GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD, representing a $600 decrease from its original $2,999 price tag. MacRumors notes that this specific Space Black model is currently the only one available at this discounted rate.
This $2,399 price point sets a new record low for the 14-inch MacBook Pro on the platform. The discount brings the cost of the 2TB storage model within $100 of the 1TB variant, which is also available on Amazon. This pricing structure narrows the value gap between the two storage capacities for buyers considering the smaller form factor.
Context and Background
Apple’s entry-level 16-inch MacBook Pro is also receiving a substantial price cut on Amazon. The 18-Core M5 Pro model, featuring 24GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, is listed at $2,499. This price reflects a $500 reduction from its standard $2,999 cost, aligning it closely with the discounted 14-inch option.

Who is Affected
Consumers looking to purchase the latest Apple hardware can access these deals directly through Amazon’s website. The discounts apply to specific configurations of the M5 Pro series, targeting users who prioritize high-performance computing and large storage capacities in portable workstations.
The availability of the 14-inch model is currently limited to the Space Black color option. Buyers interested in other colors or different storage tiers may not see the same level of discounting, as the reported deals focus on these particular inventory items.
What should you do?
Readers interested in these prices should verify current availability directly on Amazon, as inventory for specific configurations like the 2TB 14-inch model can fluctuate rapidly. Checking the final price at checkout ensures that the discount remains active and that no additional fees have been applied to the transaction.
What to do and how to stay safe: Apple
- Verify the current price and stock status on the retailer’s website before purchasing.
- Compare the discounted total against other authorized resellers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Review the return policy for open-box or refurbished items if the listing specifies non-new condition.
- Monitor the product page for any changes in warranty terms or included accessories.
