Nvidia RTX Spark laptops from Microsoft, HP, and others are now on sale

Nvidia has made its RTX Spark laptop lineup generally available for immediate shipment, according to Tom's Hardware. Orders are now live for devices from major manufacturers including Microsoft, HP, Asus, Lenovo, and Dell. The launch marks the general availability of the new hardware architecture.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra is among the first devices available for purchase. As Threat Times reported on 2026-10-16, this model faced scrutiny for its weight and noise levels. It is now on sale with configurations reaching up to 48GB of memory at Best Buy for $3,999.

Hardware Specifications and Pricing

The RTX Spark platform integrates a 20-core Grace CPU with a Blackwell GPU. This combination enables local execution of AI agents on Windows, as noted in earlier Threat Times reporting on October 16, 2026. The architecture supports up to 128GB of unified memory across the laptop lineup.

Asus offers the ProArt P16 with either 64GB or 128GB of unified memory. The 64GB configuration starts at $4,499.99 directly from the Asus web store. Upgrading to the 128GB model with 2TB of storage costs $6,999.99. This device features a 16-inch display.

HP sells two models: the 14-inch OmniBook X and the 16-inch OmniBook Ultra. Both feature 3K OLED touch displays with 120Hz refresh rates. The OmniBook X starts at $5,109 with 1TB of storage. The OmniBook Ultra is priced at $5,309. Both support up to 2TB of storage.

GPU core counts vary by memory configuration. Models with 32GB of memory feature a smaller 5,120-core GPU. All other configurations include the full 6,144-core GPU available on the RTX Spark. Best Buy currently offers a limited lineup, starting with the Asus ProArt P14 at $2,599.

Vendor Availability and Future Devices

Tom's Hardware indicates that additional devices will become available after the initial launch. This future lineup is expected to include small form factor desktops. Currently, retailers are focusing on the laptop segment from the five named manufacturers.

Microsoft sells the Surface Laptop Ultra directly, offering configurations up to 128GB of unified memory. Best Buy’s initial selection ranges from the Asus ProArt P14 to the Surface Laptop Ultra. Customers seeking the maximum 128GB memory capacity must shop outside of Best Buy’s current inventory.

What should you do?

Organizations evaluating these new devices should verify that their security policies support the specific hardware encryption features of the RTX Spark architecture. IT teams should check if existing endpoint management tools are compatible with the Grace CPU and Blackwell GPU drivers. Users should monitor vendor channels for any early firmware updates related to the new unified memory subsystem.

What to do and how to stay safe: Nvidia

• Review your organization's hardware procurement policy to ensure it allows for devices with unified memory architectures.
• Verify that your endpoint detection and response tools support the new Nvidia RTX Spark drivers and Windows integration.
• Monitor official vendor channels for any initial security patches or firmware updates for the RTX Spark platform.
• Assess if your current AI agent security policies cover local execution on these specific Blackwell GPU configurations.
