Google Play offers discounts on Friend of a Slime, CHUCHEL and other apps
Monday’s Google Play deals include price cuts for several mobile games and apps, alongside Samsung and LG hardware promotions.
Key points
- Google Play Store features discounted prices for titles such as Friend of a Slime: Survivors and CHUCHEL.
- Several apps, including Guardian War: Ultimate Edition, are listed as free for the day.
- Hardware promotions include a Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ offer and LG TV discounts.
Google Play Store is offering price reductions on a selection of mobile applications and games on Monday, according to a report by 9to5Google. The daily deal list includes titles such as Friend of a Slime: Survivors, CHUCHEL, Toziuha Night: OotA, and The House of Da Vinci 2. These offers represent a standard weekly update for consumers seeking reduced-cost software on the Android platform.
The most prominent software discount highlighted in the report is for Friend of a Slime: Survivors, which is priced at $0.25, down from its regular price of $2.50. Other reduced-price titles include Buff Knight: Offline Idle RPG at $0.50, Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet at $2.50, and The Longing. These price cuts allow users to access premium content at a fraction of the standard cost for a limited window.
Software and Hardware Promotions
In addition to the paid game discounts, several applications are being offered at no cost. Guardian War: Ultimate Edition, which normally costs $1, is listed as free. Police Department Tycoon Pro, regularly priced at $0.50, is also available for free. Soul Evolve: Epic Fantasy Hero, another title with a standard price of $1, is included in the free offers. These zero-cost options provide immediate access to full versions of these apps without any charge.
The report from 9to5Google also notes concurrent hardware promotions that are not directly tied to the software deals but are part of the broader retail landscape. Buyers of a new Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ have the opportunity to receive a $200 Amazon gift card. This hardware incentive is separate from the Google Play Store app pricing but is presented alongside the software deals in the outlet’s coverage.
Who is Affected
These deals primarily target Android users who browse the Google Play Store for entertainment and utility applications. The discounts apply to specific titles, meaning users must actively search for or locate these apps to benefit from the reduced pricing. The report does not indicate that these offers are available to all users globally or for an unlimited duration, implying they are time-sensitive and potentially region-dependent based on standard store practices.
What should you do?
Users interested in these specific titles should verify the current pricing in their local Google Play Store, as availability can vary by region. It is advisable to check the app details page to confirm whether the discount is active at the time of purchase. For hardware deals, consumers should review the terms of the Samsung and LG promotions directly on the manufacturers’ websites to understand eligibility requirements.
What to do and how to stay safe
- Check the current price of desired apps in the Google Play Store before purchasing.
- Verify that the app is from a trusted developer by reviewing ratings and permissions.
- Review the terms and conditions for any bundled hardware offers like the Samsung gift card.
- Ensure your device meets the system requirements for the discounted applications.
